We are always looking for new ideas and inspirations for our furniture. Our coffee tables were created to be seen as a real centre piece in any home.
How we do it: The frame work for our coffee tables are made from 3" x 3" timbers with mitred joints. We gave the table quite a modern frame because it really sets the design off. Inside of the frame we rebate a ply panel, this is where the poster of painting can be put into place.
Using Modge Podge and a poster that is the same size as the ply boards we gave the top a decoupage finish. It is then stuck into place and we apply two top coats of sealer to protect the surface.

At this time we are also designing an oak framed version which will have slate and tile inserts. This will give quite a rustic elegent table.
